Our Story
Why Knoot exists
Knoot was shaped by our own experience of watching the hiring market unfold on LinkedIn. We were lucky — the right opportunities found their way to us. But we quickly realized that not everyone gets that kind of luck. In recruiting, resumes are shared everywhere. Headhunters circulate them, candidates post their own, and CVs move back and forth between networks. Yet important questions remain. Do great candidates with fewer connections ever get noticed? Is personal information truly protected when resumes are shared? And when CVs are traded, who ensures the quality is evaluated fairly? Meanwhile, recruiters and hiring managers rarely have the time to dig deep and extract real insight from every profile. Knoot was built to change that! We created a community where HR professionals can share resumes in a transparent, fair, and secure way — while screening candidates faster and with more confidence. At the same time, Knoot helps every recruiter build and grow something truly valuable over time: their own Talent Pool. Powered by AI, Knoot helps resumes travel further and land in the right places — so opportunities reach the people who deserve them, and great talent is no longer missed simply because of a lack of “luck.

Knoot brings together the recruiting community and modern AI to help you — whether you’re an independent recruiter or part of a large organization — hire faster, with greater accuracy and confidence. In the long run, Knoot aims to power a broad hiring network where recruiters, companies, and candidates exchange value and grow together. What does Knoot become next?
Knoot’s roadmap is focused on building long-term value for the hiring ecosystem. In the early stages, we are prioritizing the growth of the Knoot community and the quality of candidate evaluation. Our AI is continuously improved to better understand experience depth, career context, and real role fit — not just keyword overlap. In parallel, Knoot is expanding collaboration mechanisms: easier insight sharing, clearer contribution recognition, and transparent reward systems to ensure value is fairly distributed across the network. Next, Knoot will open access to candidates. Each candidate will be able to build and grow their presence on Knoot — not as a static CV, but as a living digital profile that reflects skills, career journey, and future potential. Over time, Knoot aims to become infrastructure for better hiring decisions — where AI supports human judgment with transparency, consistency, and trust.
